TACNA – Mexico Manufacturing Simplified
Our Manufacturing Services
TACNA offers shelter manufacturing services to companies with labor intensive processes. The term “shelter” is used to denote protection for your company from the complexities and regulatory burdens of doing business in Mexico. Our team of more than 90 professionals is dedicated to addressing the daily needs of each client. We currently serve over 30 manufacturing facilities running very successful operations, in three different cities in Baja California Mexico. TACNA understands intimately the complexities of manufacturing in Mexico, because in addition to client operations, we have three TACNA owned manufacturing companies in Mexico ourselves. We own 20 thousand square feet of warehouse space in the U.S. where we conduct Northbound and Southbound logistics for our clients. We lease approximately 2.1 million square feet of industrial space in Mexico where we house our 30 client operations.
With our help, you gain a quick competitive advantage through lower manufacturing costs. We bring you to Mexico manufacturing…without regulatory hassle.
Located in San Diego
TACNA Services, Inc. is located in San Diego, California, just across the border from one of Mexico’s most industrial cities, Tijuana. Tijuana has more operating Maquiladora factories than any other Mexican city. Tijuana’s metropolitan area includes a population of approximately 2 million residents and a large young well trained young work force.
Currently our 24 plants are distributed in 3 different cities Tijuana, Ensenada and Tecate as shown in the map below.
Mexican Government and Industry Relationships
We are active in industry associations and maintain relationships with government, regulatory and business organizations relevant to establishing and maintaining manufacturing operations in Mexico. Our knowledge, experience and relationship base allows you to quickly get through the bureaucracy of setting up a maquiladora or IMEX factory in Mexico. By way of example, TACNA’s president met directly with the previous President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, along with small group of business executives to discuss issues facing Maquiladora companies operating in the Tijuana area. TACNA’s president has also met with the Governor of the State of Baja California Mexico on two occasions and with several city mayors on other occasions. TACNA is plugged in where it needs to be.
Our commitment is to quality service, integrity and transparency in all that we do. We stay current on industry and regulatory developments that might affect your manufacturing operations and keep you informed of such developments. See Testimonials.
