This expertise allows you success and efficiency far beyond the quick and efficient set up as a Mexico manufacturer. Among our top two managers alone, we have more than 50 years of experience in consulting with companies and performing Mexico manufacturing and Maquiladora services. We currently have three of our own manufacturing operations in Mexico. Our experience allows you to hit the ground running with your focus appropriately placed on production. Ross Baldwin – President
Ross has 31 years’ experience as a consultant, including 8 years of Mexico manufacturing and shelter service experience. Preceding his career with TACNA, Ross was consulting with companies for twenty two years at Arthur Andersen, where he was a consulting and audit partner. He served as the office managing partner of the Arthur Andersen Sacramento office and served on the senior management committee responsible for operations of 7 Western states and more than 2,500 professionals. Ross has traveled to 25 foreign countries and 49 of the 50 states, mostly associated with business and helping companies succeed. In his role at TACNA, Ross has held business meetings with Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon, Baja California Mexico’s governor and mayors of various Mexican cities. Ross graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Accounting.
Oswaldo (Ossie) Diaz – General Manager Mexico Operations
Ossie has more than 21 years working experience in the Maquiladora industry. He holds a manufacturing industrial engineering degree and has directly supervised manufacturing operations in medical, aerospace, electronics, automotive and sporting goods manufacturing factories. Ossie has worked under several different shelter providers as a client and accordingly knows what a client wants and needs from a service perspective. His breadth of manufacturing experience and deep knowledge of quality systems, production control, supply chain management and import/export make him uniquely qualified to assist our clients in both moving operations initially and sustaining operations in the long-term. Ossie has a customer service orientation and enjoys developing professional relationships with our clients. He has also developed strong working relationships with appropriate government officials in various agencies. He is the legal administrator for all operations in Mexico.
